Important notice for full members of RESPECT
The Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) is seeking expressions of interest from organisations wishing to be considered as providers of Domestic Violence Perpetrator Programmes under legislation of the Children and Adoption Act 06. This is due to be implemented in the late autumn 2008.
Many of you have been working with CAFCASS and the family courts for some years. This new legislation is a step forward and will provide a stable framework for this work. This area of work requires robust risk assessment and safeguarding processes and the DCSF is looking for prospective providers to meet the national service standard.
If you want to be provider please download the documents below and read the requirements. Progress towards accreditation is a requirement, so please contact Neil Blacklock to discuss what you need to do to meet that requirement before submitting an expression of interest.
