Women experiencing abuse
For women in a relationship with a male partner
Have you been experiencing abuse by your partner or ex-partner?
Are you looking for help on his behalf?
Remember:
· It is not your fault if he is abusing you-he is 100% responsible
· It is his responsibility to find help and change. If he’s expecting you to do it for him perhaps you should question his motivation to change.
· Even if he does access specialist help it doesn’t mean he’s going to change-where does that leave you?
· Couples therapy , anger management , mediation , 1-2-1 counselling are not appropriate ways to get help when there is domestic violence in a relationship
· Help and support is available for you
